The Year of Hibernation is out today (!). Trevor Powers’ Youth Lagoon is absolutely worth looking into if you’ve somehow caved yourself in from music over the past few months. The album takes in soft discourse to open throughout each track, but it’s when the anticipation finally reaches & and the song dives into its spinning flourish’d nature that keeps you pressing play long after that first listen. Making the purchase for Youth Lagoon’s album should be as easy as making a purchase at a show after a mind-blowing performance; it’s the same feeling here.
