I'm not sure how successful I am at any of those things...
I manage some bands, but I don't talk about that here too often.

i would die to have your job! how did you go about getting into the music business?peach-y
In college I worked (was essentially one of 2 “employees”) at a booking/promotion company that did shows in Gainesville. I got paid like $0.35 an hour. It really didn’t help advance my career at all, except it taught me how everything in this industry is always super hectic. It also made me used to meeting and talking to musicians (some of who were pretty popular at the time) in a professional way. Besides that it also taught me how to act like I’m not drunk when I am very drunk.
Then I graduated college and moved up to New York with not much of a plan. I’m friends with Alexis Krauss from Sleigh Bells so she helped me get an internship at Mom+Pop. That was pretty cool, I worked my ass off there for about 3 months while I ran out of money.
Eventually one of my bosses at M+P told me that another company (ECG) was looking for an assistant, so I interviewed and got the job.
I work a lot of hours for not a lot of money (as does every young person in this industry), but it can be really cool at times.
